I have been super busy with university work recently so haven't been able to make a journal entry! but my mid semester break has started now so hopefully I can spend some more time on my website :>

I finally finished a pretty good basis for my entire website plus also the start of a webring between me and my friends (that can be found
here). Overall a day with a lot of progress on the site!

Think I am finished with this page's layout and decoration atm! Quite happy with it and including a music player was fun to try and work out as well. I'm still very much a novice at any kind of coding but it's fun trying to work out new things and try out new stuff!

I've spent the past two days working on getting my keitai set up and also decorating it. It's only slightly annoying to get used to the keypad again and I'm incredibly happy with it. I decided to get a keitai not only due to other interest in early-mid 2000's tech, but also trying to break myself away from algorithmic contect and endless scrolling, which only a day into swapping, I see the impact already. First of all I just haven't installed any kind of social media onto it (apart from discord which is the way I solely contact quite a lot of friends) and only really have things like whatsapp on it for contacting people - and even though I do have discord installed on it, it does feel inconvenient to scroll/interact in servers compared to my iphone. Which is something I am happy about!
